Global Procurement Organization

The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) supports procurement of non-inventory goods and services for the Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) organization.

The GPO Supplier Diversity & Inclusion (SD&I) team aims to create an inclusive procurement culture that identifies, monitors, and promotes partnership with Diverse Owned and Small Businesses (DOSBs) to deliver results for Amazon, its customers, and communities. The team works with partners across GPO to drive inclusion of DOSBs. They also engage in strategic outreach, in collaboration with external DOSB advocacy organizations, to identify new, qualified and capable DOSBs with the overall goal to strengthen communities where the fulfillment network operates.

Supplier diversity and inclusion activates our leadership principle Success and Scale Bring Broad Responsibility. By partnering with qualified diverse and small businesses, we can drive economic impact and growth for businesses and our communities. Amazon is determined to engage, develop, and include diverse and small businesses in our supply chain as partners to drive innovation, fuel our customer obsession, and continuously be better for the world at large.
