Global Corporate Procurement

Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) partners with teams across Amazon company-wide, with a global view and their business owners to procure the optimal goods and services required, on time and at the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) while maintaining the highest levels of controllership and transparency. GCP helps maximize the value, efficiency and quality from their strategic external supplier partnerships which allows us to leverage Amazon’s full spend in securing the most advantageous commercial agreements. Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) has two primary areas of focus: promoting controllership across the non-inventory Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, and driving procurement savings through strategic sourcing programs. GCP provides sourcing support, procurement operations, and controllership for all business units indirect spend.

Amazon is a customer focused company, which believes in fostering the inclusion of diverse owned businesses in our supplier network. We understand that by utilizing our scope and scale we can drive global economic impact and support the communities that we serve.

We acknowledge that we aren’t where we would like to be with Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SDI). Our SDI strategy encompasses our core principles of customer obsession, innovation, and thinking big. These principles are guiding our team to achieve Amazon’s vision to be earth’s most customer-centric company and building an SDI initiative that is world-class.
